She was predeceased by: her parents, Alza Albertus Bert and Jane Brandon (Turner); her husband Milan "Mike" Eugene Tappen; her sons, Michael Glenn Tappen and Duane John Tappen; her grandson Michael Glenn Tappen, Jr; her siblings, Mable Fox, Lillian Coon, Nora Braden, Albert Brandon, John Brandon, Glenn Brandon, Roger Brandon and Robert Brandon; and her sister-in-law Ardith Cnota.
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Tappen; and her daughter-in-law Mary Frances Tappen. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
