She was predeceased by: her parents, Darrell Hicks and Virginia Hicks (Hisler). She is survived by: her sister Julie Carpenter (Hicks); her brother-in-law Jerry Carpenter; her siblings, Jeff Hicks and Kristi Klaiss (Hicks); and her brother-in-law Brian Klaiss. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home (206 W Lawrence Ave, Charlotte, MI 48813). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
