He is survived by: his wife Rita Mae Kossman; his children, Barbara Surma of Charlotte, Timothy Skidmore (Dianna) of Olivet, David Skidmore of Charlotte and Faith Puffpaff (John) of Waterford; and his brother Steve Skidmore of South Carolina. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren.
