He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Simpson and Eathel Simpson (Boyer); his wife Phyllis Jean Simpson; his grandson Clifford Marshall; his son-in-law Sheldon Enterline; and his brother-in-law Clifford LaMarr Weers.

He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Marshall (Stanley), Wayne Simpson (Sandy) and Diane Enterline; his grandchildren, Angel Andrews, Kathleen Marshall, Samantha Marshall (Lam Pham), Josh Simpson (Lindsay), Jason Ross, Josh Ross and Jeff Ross; his great grandchildren, Kalli Mongar (Matt), Kadence Andrews and James Pham; his great great grandchild Aubree Mongar; his siblings, Marvel Weers, Max Simpson (Sandy), Lois Klumpp (Ken), Albert Simpson (Jaynne) and Roy Simpson (Krys); and his siblings-in-law, Louise Todd (Richard) and Leonard Barney (Bonnie). He is also survived by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
