He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Johnson and Ina Johnson (Watts); his wife Betty Hull; his son Jack Johnson Jr.; his grandson Darren Ives; and his sister Iris Allen.
He is survived by: his daughter Lynda Nettleman; his grandchildren, Shane, Jason and Kimberley; and his brother Dick Johnson. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
