It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ila Marie Sommer of Charlotte, Michigan, born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on December 15, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph John and Anna Barbara Lobert (Helmkamp); her husbands, James Jones and Edward Sommer; her daughters, Peggy Gabrielle Labelle and Penny Jo Jones; her grandsons, Matt DeWaters and Trevor Heinze; and her siblings, Mary Cole, Wayne Lobert, Ronnie Lobert and John "Dale" Lobert.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Burns, Steve Jones (Nina), James Jones (Noredine), Liz Tabor (David) and Michelle Jones (Tim); her stepchildren, Patty Heinze, Suellen Spicknell and Margaret Harris; and her brother Roger Lobert (Janice). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
