She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyer Rickle and Hazel Rickle (Wells); her husband Lee Vierk; and her brothers, Douglas Rickle and Bob Rickle.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Vierk (Diana) of Charlotte, Janet Bowers of Olivet and Brenda Vierk of Lansing; her grandchildren, Mark Vierk (Denise), Chris Vierk (Nicole), Tracie Portillo (Chris), Chanda Aves (Todd), Matt Bowers (Kyleigh Kunkel) and Melissa Carpenter (Bruce); and her sister Margaret Wood. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.
