He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hans Detleif and Wilhelmina Langmaack (Muhs); his wife Patricia; his children, Peggy Papoi (Michael), Robert Langmaack (Debbie), Karl Langmaack (Kendra), Chris Langmaack (Kristina) and Amy Hettinger; and his sister Ingrid Iauch (Joe). He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
