He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Magoon and Berniece Magoon (Frank); his wife Lola; and his siblings, Gayle, Eric Magoon and Stella Masters.
He is survived by: his children, Edward Lynn Magoon (Rebecca), Michael Duane Magoon, Colleen Joan Gorton (Gene), Jeffery Allen Magoon (Marie) and Connie Rae Blekfeld (Alan); and his sister Emagene Pitcher. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
