He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Smith and Alice Smith (Harmon); and his siblings, Bruce Smith and Mary Rogers. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Elaine Woodbury; his children, Carol Pell (Tom), Robert Smith and Marc Smith (Pat); and his grandchildren, Jeramie Pell (Karle), Zania Emery (Matthew), Chris Cummings (Allison), Chelsea Buchholz (Justin) and Adam Smith (Alissa). He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren with one on the way; many nieces and nephews.
