He is survived by: his children, Cindy Gowell of Charlotte, Dave Park (Nancy) of North Carolina, Kathy Newell (Tom) of Georgia and Nancy Kemp (Phil) of California. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
