She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Carlos and Francis Perez (Gonzales); her husband Carlos; her daughter Bertha Quijas; and her siblings, Mary Belmares, Ray Perez, Joe Perez and Ralph Perez.
She is survived by: her children, Rosa Cook of Florida, Francis Corral of Chicago, IL, John Castaneda of Mulliken and Charles Castaneda of Charlotte. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
