He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane E. Wertz and Martha L. Wertz (Welch); his wife Carla Gene Powers; and his sister Marcia Dewey (Thomas). He is survived by: his daughters, Deniece Kellogg (Bill) of Grand Ledge, Deanna Wertz of Olivet, Darci Wertz (Todd Hogeland) of Charlotte and Darla Scott (Troy) of Lansing; his grandchildren, Mikel Kellogg, Corie Lawrence (Eric), Billy Kellogg (Malori Grantham), Deni Swinton and Dustin Scott; his great grandchildren, Laityn Kellogg, Dawson Kellogg and Miles Lawrence; and his siblings, Darry Wertz (Delores), Angie Earl (Fred) and Donald Wertz (Linda).
