With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darwin DeSoto Lampman of Charlotte, Michigan, who passed away on December 20, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Darwin DeSoto may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Darwin DeSoto touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn Eugene and Leah Audrey Lampman (Pider). He is survived by: his wife Aletha May Lampman; and his children, Nancy Jo Lampman, Peggy Waugh (Dennis), Daniel Darwin Lampman and Brenda Lea Lampman. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and his nieces, nephews.
