He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan Young and Julia Young (Patrick); his wife Ollie; and his siblings, Carl Young, Lena Peterson, Fred Young and Clyde Young.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Watkis (Carl) of Lansing, Cindi Powers (Larry) of Charlotte, Rose Perry (Donald) of Bellevue, Laura Young of Lansing, Tammy Cary (Trey) of Lansing and Brett Colette of Lake City, UT; his siblings, Harlan Young (Sharon) of Charlotte, Virginia Gosnell (Melvin) of Grand Ledge, Loretta Staley of Grand Ledge, Jim Young of Ohio and Margaret Ewing of Mason; and his close friend Judy Finney. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
