He was predeceased by: his grandfather Olivet; his parents, Raymond Mead and Viola Mead (Rowell); his stepdaughter Darlene Griffin; and his siblings, Stanley Mead, Newton Schriner, John Schriner and Rebecca Conklin.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his daughter Ariane Van Iwaarden (John); his grandchildren, Mikayla, Collin, Clayton, Keghan, Andrea Williams and Mia Williams; his stepchildren, Dawn Howlett, Amy Reynolds, Deanna Hebenstreit, Dan Griffin, David Griffin and Shane Wells; and his siblings, Clifford Mead and Margaret King. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
