He was predeceased by: his mother Ila Leona Klaiss (Shumaker); his sister Joyce Elaine Klaiss; his grandson Adam Sheldon; and his sister-in-law Leila Klaiss. He is survived by: his father Donald Owen; his children, Lee Harvey of Inverness, Brian Sheldon of Winder, Georgia and Kelly Wadsworth of Charlotte; and his brother Neil Klaiss. He is also survived by three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
