Bruce R. Carpenter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bruce R. Carpenter (Charlotte, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 13, 2025 at the age of 95. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Carpenter and Jean Carpenter (Mallory); his former wife Dorothy Gray; his son Michael Carpenter; his sister Eleanor Daggett; and his son-in-law John Kallioinen.
He is survived by: his daughters, Catherine Kallioinen and Cris Carpenter (Ken Christopher); his daughter-in-law Diane Schwab; his grandchildren, Jeremy Mortenson (Rebecca), Michael Mortenson, Amanda Evans, Malinda Durner (Johnathan) and Nathaniel Heinrich (Ashley Everett); and his wife Billie. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Charlotte Seventh Day Adventist Church (1516 S Cochran Rd, Charlotte, MI 48813). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery - Hamlin Twp (8985 E Spicerville Hwy, Eaton Rapids, MI 48827).
