He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Nelson and Laura Nelson (Dorothy); and his brother Walter Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Jean Andrews; and his children, Cheryl Hanger (Jay) of West Jordan, UT, Val Nelson (Carolyn) of Charlotte and Kevin Nelson (Jeanene) of Gunnison, CO. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
