It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Barnard of Charlevoix, Michigan, who passed away on March 26, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Susan Barnard to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Anderson and Donis Anderson (Staley); her husband Michael Lee Barnard; her son Michael Kelsey Barnard; and her sister Shelly Paramo.
She is survived by: her daughter Karlee Barnard of Charlevoix; her sister Sharon Anderson of Manton; her grandchildren, Mikaya Dixon, Emma Philp, Davayah Philp, Chelsea Philp and Lucas Philp; and her great grandchild Londyn Claycomb. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and countless friends.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Charlevoix Community Reformed Church (109 Elm St, Charlevoix, MI 49720). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 230 Ferry Ave, Charlevoix, MI 49720.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice.
