He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rockliff Sutton and Arvilla Sutton (Yahr); his spouse Jean Sutton (Denny); his children, Richard Sutton (Tammi LaFave) of Charlevoix, Debbie Wurst (Randy) of Charlevoix and Brenda Wright (Stuart) of Charlevoix; his siblings, Don Sutton (Acelia) of Petoskey, Arthur Sutton (Pat) of Charlevoix, Wanda Barraw of Central Lake and Donna Himebauch (Jerry) of Alaska; his grandchildren, Devin Sutton, Ben Sutton, Shelby Wurst, Sydney Wurst, Cole Wright and Abbey Wright; his close friend Rick Wells (Lynn Sutton); and his brother Andrew Sutton. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Grandvue Medical Care Facility.
