It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Mitchell of Charlevoix, Michigan, who passed away on December 2, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucious King and Ida Mitchell; and his siblings, Harriet and Curtis. He is survived by: his wife Irene Mitchell (Cornstalk); and his children, Glenn McSawby of Charlevoix, Gary McSawby of Petoskey, Sandra McSawby of Charlevoix, Lois Peplow (Greg) of Charlevoix and Clinton Matthew Boulton (Pauline) of Petoskey. He is also survived by 39 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Greensky Hill United Methodist Church.
