He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Burk and Leona Burk (Datte); his grandson Braden; and his sisters, Joan Burk, Jane Monge and Judith Lindsey.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Burk (Noey); his children, Lisa Redding (Alan) of Bloomington, MN, Michael Baker (Morgan) of Minneapolis, MN, Stephen Burk (Maggie) of Lebanon, TN and Susan Zikovich (Tony) of Mt. Juliet, TN; his grandchildren, Alexander, Logan, Evan, Theodore, Harriet, Hallie, Katie, Ryan and Anna; and his close friends, Ann Peterson, Lynn and Judy Sprout.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
