It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Armstrong Sr. formerly of Charlevoix, Michigan, who passed away on June 30, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Armstrong and Hazel Armstrong; his siblings, Ronald Armstrong, Larry Armstrong and Barbara Dockery; his son Duffy Jay Armstrong; and his grandson Kyle Jay Armstrong.
He is survived by: his wife Hilda Armstrong (Bruce); his siblings, Naomi Pannell (John), Randall Armstrong (Shawn), Diane (Terry) and Richard (Kathy); his siblings-in-law, Jean Armstrong and Coy Dockery; his niece Angie Brunk (Bob); his nephew Theodore Armstrong (Alma); his great-nephew Gary Armstrong Jr. (Cami); his great-niece Beth Swenson (Ted); his grandchildren, Jamie, Brian, Sara (Dave), Joshua, Alec (Caressa), Jake (Paige), Lillii, Jessica, Shane (Kate), Megan (Jean Pierre), Dalton (Katelyn), Leah (Tanner) and Terry; and his great grandchildren, Destiny, Faith, Gabriel, Christian, Grace, Archer, Charlotte, Augustin, Madeline, Ivy, Ella and Nolie.
