She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Bondie and Viola Bondie (Schwartz); and her sister Joan Reister. She is survived by: her husband Charles "Charley" Kohs; her sons, Charles "Ken" Kohs and Carl J. Kohs; and her grandchildren, Scott, Lance, Paige, Nick, Cassy and Zack. She is also survived by her eight great-grandchildren.
