The passing of David Dickinson of Charlevoix, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 27, 2024 at the age of 78. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Dickinson and Mildred Dickinson (Barnes); his brothers, Art, Floyd, Duane and Fred; and his in-laws, Robert and Agnes Olson.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Olson of Charlevoix; his children, Eric Dickinson (Heather) of Grand Rapids, MI, Matthew Dickinson (Katie) of Carson City, NV and Stephanie Brooks (Allen) of Ann Arbor, MI; his grandsons, Andrew and Tyler Dickinson; his sister Ruth Ann Alber (Charles) of Grand Rapids; and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy, Genny, Iva and Lois Dickinson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mortensen Funeral Homes (209 State St, Charlevoix, MI 49720).
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Petoskey (1250 Atkins Rd. Petoskey, Mi 49770) or the Boyne City Humane Society.
