It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha Potter of Charlevoix, Michigan, who passed away on February 9, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bertha Potter to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Habel and Jennie Habel (Nowland); her husband Garrett Potter; and her brothers, Bill Habel, Bob Houghton and Albert Houghton.
She is survived by: her son Gary Potter (Jody) of Charlevoix; her sister Bernice Macy (Marie) of Sault Ste; and her grandchildren, Gary Potter (Jess Ard) of Boyne City, Michael Potter (Colleen) of Petoskey, Kimberly Chrysler (Gary) of Petoskey and Megan Griffin of Boyne City. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Barnard United Methodist Church.
