Bennett Cunningham Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bennett Cunningham of Charlevoix, Michigan, who passed away on December 19, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Cunningham and Jessie Cunningham (Potter); and his brother Bruce Cunningham. He is survived by: his wife Leslie Cunningham (Lyons) of Charlevoix; his children, Cristin Cunningham (Dirk Lillie) of Charlevoix, Matthew Cunningham (Jennifer) of Charlevoix, Michael Cunningham (Denise) of Charlevoix and Thomas Cunningham (Natoshia) of Ada; his brother Stuart Cunningham (Gloria) of Petoskey; his sister-in-law Terri Cunningham of Traverse City; and his grandchildren, Ray, Abby, Richie, Katie, Madie, Jack, Savvy, Louie and Aurelia Cunningham. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Given his tendency to try to help those who needed a boost to get back on their feet and his love of music, memorial donations can be made to the Safe Haven Ministries Nightlight Men's Shelter of Community Reformed Church, the Charlevoix High School Band Program, and the Charlevoix City Band.
