He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Bennett and Ina Bennett (Wickham); his daughter Melissa Kay Bennett; his sisters, Ruby Lechowitz and Rita Yarch; and his brothers-in-law, Eugene Jurek, Norbert Lechowitz and Pete Yarch.
He is survived by: his siblings, Thelma Jurek (Don Bauer) of Pellston, Dale Bennett (Patty) of Florida, Kathy Bennett of Indian River and Sheila Melke (Jim) of Charlevoix. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
