He was predeceased by: his parents, Toivo "Wally" Seppanen and Dorothy Seppanen (Nurmela). He is survived by: his wife Julie Seppanen (Larson); his children, Angela Seppanen, Michael Seppanen (Christine Olp) and Maija Seppanen; his stepdaughter Jolene Choudhry; his grandchildren, Raider Murphy, Braxton Murphy and Andrea Choudhry; and his siblings, Kenneth Seppanen (Trudy), William Seppanen and Annette Carriere (D. Michael). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
