With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Evert Ekdahl of Champion, Michigan, born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 16, 2022 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walfred Ekdahl and Althea Ekdahl (Bruhn); his wife Carol Ekdahl; his sister Sharon Jones; and his son-in-law Ken Irwin.
He is survived by: his daughter Michele Irwin; his siblings, Bruce Ekdahl (Rose) and Karla Holm (Jim); his sister-in-law Mary Joki (Marvin); his granddaughter Andrea Glisson (Chad); and his great grandchild Colton Glisson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
