It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Hamel of Champion, Michigan, who passed away on September 6, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Marie (Plankey) and Matt Kulie; her husband Harold "Mutto" Hamel; and her son Michael. She is survived by: her sons, Dale Hamel of Green Bay, WI, Keith Hamel (Sue) of Iron River, Fred Hamel of Oshkosh, WI and Matt Hamel of Houghton; her grandsons, Jason, Kevin, Ryan, Anthony, Nicholas and Adam; and her niece Karen Porter. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
