She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Garnaat and Jeannine Hunt Taylor (Garnaat); her sister Carol Messner (Garnaat); her siblings-in-law, Joyce Garnaat (Larson) and Steve Wilson; her parents-in-law, LaVern and Mary Lou Schlabach; and her niece CaleighAnne Jennifer Schlabach.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Wayne Schlabach of Centreville, MI; her children, Kylee Schlabach of Centreville, MI, Katie Wiggins (Cory) of Sturgis, MI and Collin Schlabach (Alisa) of Sturgis, MI; her grandsons, Branson Wayne Wiggins and Micah Wayne Schlabach; her siblings, David Garnaat (Brenda Troyer) of Portage, MI and Susan Wilson (Garnaat) of Portage, MI; and her brother-in-law Fred Messner of Sturgis, MI. She is also survived by many other brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grace Christian Fellowship (300 Timothy Dr, Sturgis, MI 49091). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Schlabach family for help with funeral expenses.
