Abigail N. Augerbright Obituary

AUGERBRIGHT age 79 of Centreville, Michigan went to be with her heavenly father Friday afternoon October 1, 2010 at the Fairview Living Centre in Centreville. She was born March 11, 1931 in Sturgis, Michigan a daughter of the late Charles and Zella (DeLong) Schrader. On November 24, 1965 she married John Hanselman in Sturgis.

The marriage ended with his passing February 12, 1970. She then married Paul E. Augerbright on May 15, 1971 and this marriage also ended with his passing January 4, 1999. Abigail had been employed by Schrader's Domestic, Bev's Restaurant and the Green Briar Motor Inn. She enjoyed fishing, following the Detroit Tigers and Lions and loved time spent with her grandchildren.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Fairview Living Center for the love and care their grandmother and mother received from the doctors, nurses and staff. She is survived by one daughter, Edith (Terry) Moore of Centreville, five grandchildren, Hope (Ralph) Bauder of White Pigeon, April (Phil) Ackerman of LaGrange, Indiana, Donald (Matt) Flynn-Mahan of St. Louis, Missouri, Victoria Flynn of Sturgis and Shane (Don) Urick of Sturgis, ten great grandchildren, Ralph Bauder, II, Dannie Ray Bauder, Mistie Bauder, Rachel Studeman, Owen Akerman, Kayla Salens, John Ryan, Taylor Belleau and Sara Urick, three great great grandsons, Jayden Salens, Kayson Salens and Nathaniel Nickles, one brother Leslie (Kathy) Schrader of Colon, brothers-in-law, Millard Earl (Martine) Harvey of Colon and Earl (Lorraine) Augerbright of Colon and many nieces and nephews.

She is now with her parents, twin daughters, Bonnie and Veroil Jo Alleshouse, great grandson, Tylor James Studeman, six sisters, two brothers, son Dannie Joe Hanselman, two great nephews, Jason Ray Schrader and Clayton James Pappas and niece Edith Davis and nephew Ray Davis in heaven. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:45 P.M. Friday at the Hackman Family Funeral Homes – Rosenberg Chapel, 807 E. Chicago Rd., Sturgis, MI 49091 where funeral services celebrating the life of Abigail Augerbright will begin at 7:00 P.M. Friday.

The Rev. Larry McKay of the Spirit of Truth Family Worship Church of Three Rivers will officiate. In accordance with her wishes cremation will follow the service. Memorial donations would be appreciated to the family c/o: Hope Bauder, 69080 Wallowa Rd., White Pigeon, MI 49099 to help with expenses.
