He is survived by: his wife Lyra "Peggy" Whitney (Casto); his children, Jesse Whitney (Patricia) of Echo Township and Christina Shaw (Dwayne) of Central Lake; his grandchildren, Espn, Angel and Evan Shaw of Central Lake; and his sisters, Hazel Grant (Marvin), Christina Skop (Richard), Carrie Hover (Bill) and Vera Harrington (Joe).
