With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vera J. Gordon (Central Lake, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on March 19, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Patton (Sid) and Lovena Patton (DeForest); her husband Gay; and her siblings, Dick, Dave, Jack Patton, Mable Watkins, Mary Narro Lort, Waneta Wilks, Shirley Wolgamott Warner and Agnes Asquith.

She is survived by: her son Chuck; her daughter-in-law Joyce; her granddaughters, Jill Carlington (Jamie) and Dorrie Wisniske (Nick); her great grandchild Lucas Carlington; her daughter Connie; her son-in-law Tom Kiessel; her sister Wanda Wolgamott (Lawrence); and her close friend Ted Kolsky. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Memorial contributions can be given to Hospice of Northwest Michigan, The Good Samaritan, or Antrim County Commission on Aging.
