It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lou Ann Purdy of Central Lake, Michigan, born in Charlevoix, Michigan, who passed away on July 3, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Brown and Christine Brown (Tornga); her husband Charles "Chuck" Purdy; and her siblings, Frank Brown and Linda Gander.
She is survived by: her children, Charlene Roberts (Gary) of East Jordan, Sherry Purdy of Pierson, FL, Robert Purdy of Central Lake and Kim Ranum (Kevin) of Gwinn, MI; and her sisters, June Veldcamp of Ellsworth, Virginia VandeWege (Jim) of Plainwell and Betty Bennett of Nashville, MI. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
