He was predeceased by: his daughter Christina Risteau; his siblings, Arnold "Sonny" Risteau, Frederick Risteau and Joyce Sylvester; and his stepson-in-law Ross Starkey.
He is survived by: his wife Janet; his son James "Jimmy" Risteau (Tamara); his stepdaughters, Paula Stevens (Ryan) and April Starkey; his grandchildren, Amber, Amanda, Katie, Stephanie, McKenzie and Trenton; and his great grandchildren, Luke, Delaina and Reaghan.
