He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Havenstein and Alma Havenstein (Koths); his former wife Laura; his wife Ann McClelland; his daughters, Patricia Emery of Bellaire and Peggy Schmidt (Mark) of Petoskey; his stepdaughters, Peggy O'Dean (Jeff) of Metamora, MI and Sarah Orr (Mike) of Ashland, MA.; and his grandchildren, Kelly O'Dean, Colin O'Dean, Lily Orr and Molly Orr. He was also cherished by friends, and musician companions.
