He was predeceased by: his parents, Versal Shooks and Christine Shooks (VanStedum). He is survived by: his wife Denise; his sons, Matthew Shooks (Stephanie) of Columbus, OH and Daniel Shooks of Ft. Worth, TX; his grandchildren, Luke, Jacob and Abagail Shooks; his siblings, Bryan Shooks (Barb) and Cindy Ruis (Randy); his siblings-in-law, Dean Cary (Pam Matson) and Sharon Tornga (Jerry); and his nieces and nephews, Scott Papineau (Julie), Amanda Skeel (Jeff), Beth Tutor (John), Brad Ruis, Conor Cary, Kevin Cary (Alison), Adam Cary, Nicole Johnson (Ron) and Andrea Earle.
