He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Simonson and Hazel Simonson (McDowell); and his siblings, Shirley Rogers, Calvin, Alvin Simonson, Leonard Simonson and Cheryl Shipp.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Simonson (Kharna) of North Muskegon, Stephanie Gibson of Central Lake and Shane Simonson (Anna Simonson) of Central Lake; his grandchildren, Kylie Simonson, Katie Simonson and Jaqualtress "Jaque" Gibson of Jaquenji; and his siblings, Mary Krahn, Earl Simonson of Central Lake, Linda Mead of Central Lake, Gayle Hudson of Flowery Branch, GA and James VerBeek of East Jordan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Lake Food Pantry, Good Samaritan or to the family.
