He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Dawson and Beatrice Dawson (McGuire); his daughter Kris Dawson; and his sister Linda Prokop. He is survived by: his wife Alice Dawson (Harrison); his daughter Lisa Dawson of Central Lake; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Emma, Joshua and Owen; and his brothers, Gene Dawson (Joanne), Gary Dawson (Lois), Dave Dawson (Lynda), Kevin Dawson (Vicki) and Craig Dawson (Leslie).
