He is survived by: his wife JoAnn; his brother Robert Kern (Marjorie); his children, Richard Kern Jr. (Anita), Steven Kern (Lisa), Lesley Arnold and Stacey Kern; his grandchildren, Jacob Kern, Jacob Arnold, Victoria Wagenknecht (Kyle), Dominic Arnold, Aaron Kern, Mallory May (Alex), Zachary Arnold (Rebecca), John Arnold, Theodora Kern and Josephine Arnold; and his great grandchildren, Anthony Virgona, Joelle and Jae Arnold.
