It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Marie McCarthy (Center Line, Michigan), who passed away on October 9, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Edward McCarthy; her parents, William Foy and Margaret Foy; and her siblings, Bill Foy and Peggy Goboly.
She is survived by: her children, Cathrine Cottone (Joseph), Michael McCarthy (Marie), Patti Zagar (Jeff) and William McCarthy (Giselle Godin); her grandchildren, Joseph Cottone (Kerry), Kenneth McCarthy, James Cottone (Megan), Cristyn Messick (Dustin) and Ashlee Juricny; her stepgrandson Jarek Zagar; and her great grandchildren, Luca Cottone, Andrew Cottone, Trayten Messick, Wesley Cottone and Irelynn Messick.
Joan had a long journey battling Alzheimer disease.
