He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Hughes and Jessie Hughes; his wife Irene; his children, Theresa Tharrett (Rick) and Shelley Burghardt (John); his grandchildren, Lauren Reid (Nic), Richard D. Tharrett, Jacob Burghardt (Paige Stefaniak) and Adam Burghardt; and his great grandchild Caden Reid. He was also cherished by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
