He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice and Margaret Benson Sr. (Kalovits); and his sister Shirley. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Benson (Michelle) of Napoleon and Todd Benson of Jackson; his grandson Hunter; and his stepgrandsons, Kyle and Nikolas Johnson.
