She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Blatchford and Ellen Rae Blatchford (Mulnix); her brothers, David, Eddie, Phil and Ted Blatchford; and her siblings-in-law, Carl and Madeline Gier.

She is survived by: her husband Raymond Gier; her children, Brett Gier (Lisa) and Shaney Gorrell (Jon); her grandchildren, Jonathan Gorrell, Noah Gorrell, Alanah Cochran, Carissa Gorrell and David LeForge; her stepgranddaughters, Brittany Ramos and Ashley Gomez; and her great grandchildren, Brodee, Aryella and Nash Gorrell. She is also survived by several brother and sister-in-laws and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
