She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Freed and Eileen Freed (Nantau); and her siblings, Gregory Freed and Gail Davis. She is survived by: her husband Leon D. "Lon" Sheffer; her daughters, Michelle Cook (Kevin) of Brooklyn and Leah Herbert (James) of Howell; and her grandchildren, Joshua, Brooke and Nicholas. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
