He was predeceased by: his daughter Donna Corrine; his stepmother Lempi McDonald; his sisters, Vera Taylor and Corrine Fountain; his half-brother Leo Kemp; and his friend Melbourne Williams.

He is survived by: his wife Yvonne; his children, Randy McDonald of Cedarville, Rhonda Miller (Bernie) of Waterville, Shelley Promo (Jeff) of Hessel and Tracy Reichlin of Cedarville; his niece Jodi Izzard; his grandchildren, Nathan Smith (Tristina), Dylan McDonald, Kevin Reichlin, Sienna Reichlin, Daryl Miller and Tracie Hultgren; his siblings, Gary McDonald (Ellie), Sharon Thompson (Don) and Kathy Fountain (Steve); his stepsister Boots Carr; his siblings-in-law, Glen Izzard, Howard Craft and Jackie Smith; and his cousin Don Sterling. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
