He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Sr. Kownacki and Helen Kownacki (Oneski); and his brothers-in-law, Richard Wojtas and Jerry Nutt. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Kownacki; his sons, Mark Kownacki (Kim) of Armada, Randy Kownacki (Kristine) of Imlay City and Terry Kownacki (Amy) of Armada; his grandchildren, Erin Benschoter (Zachary), Alec, Alexa, Haleigh, Jacob, Axel and Ryet Kownacki; and his sisters, Marilyn Wojtas of Deckerville and Joann Eldred of Orlando.
